Beatrix is one of the those restaurants with something for everyone. They have light salads, seafood, tacos, and meat and vegetables dishes, plus a gluten-free menu. Their pastry and dessert counter has incredible breakfast pastries, cookies, and pies. Beatrix is open daily and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays and brunch and dinner on weekends. *Beatrix’s locations in River North and Streeterville are near each other and this can cause confusion.
Kanela Breakfast Club

The great thing about Kanela is that they serve the same all day menu at all locations all days of the week. The menu has the perfect mix of healthy options, breakfast options, salads, and sandwiches. Kanela is one of the best places for breakfast in Chicago, which is why they have four locations. All locations are open from 8am-3pm seven days a week.
Volare
Italian
This Italian restaurant opened in 1997 and serves traditional Italian food. The menu includes regional specialities like Sardinian Malloreddus squid ink spaghetti. In our opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Streeterville.
Grand Lux Cafe

Offshore is open for dinner Friday through Sunday and small brunch menu is served on Saturday and Sunday with the option for bottomless mimosas. The rooftop has an entertainment and game area plus several fire pits. Note: Offshore is 21+ after 9 pm, but they have a kid’s menu available before then.
Lirica

A restaurant within the Sable Hotel that serves a menu of Mexican, Iberian, and South American inspired cuisine raining from tacos to skirt steak and jump shrimp. Lirica opens at 7 am daily, is open all day, and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
